I finally read the last Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants book.

Let's just get this out of the way first: Lena didn't care that Kostos was seriously involved with another woman, and Kostos didn't care about his current girlfriend/fiance/otherwise partner in all of the months he was writing love letters to Lena. They deserve each other.

But Tibby and Bee are my girls as far as this series goes, and I kind of think there is something wrong with your soul if you don't tear up at Mimi and Bailey "so they don't have to be alone" in the first book, so the point at which I flipped my shit was the fireflies "being in the sky forever" conversation that wasn't about fireflies at all. Only because Aud has a small child at home, that was the only reason she got a sobbing, incoherent text at eleven-thirty at night rather than a sobbing, incoherent phone call.

I want Cameron to be a cross between Catherine Zeta Jones and Meryl Streep. I want her to knock the whole world on its ass.

The ending, with all of them living on the farm together, was a bit odd, but I'll take it. The rest of the book got grief so right that it hurt down in the bones, but it was so good.
